Crazy in Cartagena

Every year my friends and I decide to take a group trip somewhere in the world. In 2018, we went to Cuba and Iceland. In 2019, we went to Thailand. In 2020, we stayed in our backyards because of COVID, so we knew 2021 had to be BIG! We decided on Cartagena, Colombia and we vowed to make this one of our best trips yet!
When you decide to travel with a group, one thing we have learned is understanding, timing, and communication. We planned this trip in February 2021 and gave out an entire itinerary, payment plans, duties, and so much more. 9 Black queer men came together and we all went Crazy in Cartagena. We booked an AirBnb for the 9 of us and stayed in the Old Walled City. Our host had a house attendant that cooked, cleaned, and help facilitate activities for us while we were on vacation. From beaches, to night clubs, to giving back to a local school, the trip was filled with moments that are unforgettable that make you understand how blessed you are.
